The Seagulls have been producing fine showings in the 2018/2019 season and they head into Saturdays match following a 3-1 win over Crystal Palace. Seeing that Burnley made a very slow start to the season, we predict that the visitors are going to emerge triumphant in the Turf Moor game. Turf Moor will host Saturdays football game between Burnley and Brighton. It has to be noted, though, that the Seagulls will be without suspended defender Duffy, who was sent off in the victory over Palace. As a result, Burnley remained in the relegation zone in the Premier League standings, but a win over Brighton could see them move away from bottom three. Taking everything into account, away in should be considered. Despite taking the lead in a midweek clash against Liverpool, the Clarets were eventually beaten by Jurgen Klopps troops in front of home fans.

The fact is that Burnley are low on confidence and seem to have lost that all consuming drive to keep the opposition at bay that served them so well last season. Burnleys only 2 victories of the season came in back to back games against Bournemouth and Cardiff in September, and its far past the time that anybody can blame the Europa League hangover for their poor form.

You should bear in mind, though, that Brighton are after their first win over Burnley since August 24, 2013. The Clarets, on the other hand, are on a three-game winless run in the national championship. Burnley are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but seeing that they often struggle on the travels, we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling the Seagulls party at the American Express Community Stadium.

Today's Tips

In 2015 he moved to West Bromwich Albion, but he did not make his WBA debut in the Premier League. After making 16 appearances for Preston in the 2015/2016 season, he signed a permanent deal with the Lilywhites on 2 July, 2016. Anders Lindegaard signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Red Devils on 27 November, 2010 and it has to be noted that he made 19 league appearances for the Old Trafford outfit.

Speaking of his international career, Alireza JahanBakhsh scored two goals for Iran on the road to Russia and he will represent his homeland at the 2018 FIFA world cup finals. In 2011 he moved to fellow Iranian club Damash Gilan and it has to be noted that he scored 10 goals in 44 appearances in the league for the club. The AZ Alkmaar winger, who is used as an attacking midfielder as well, scored 21 goals in 33 appearances in the Eredivisie in the 2017/2018 season.

On the other hand, Burnley have not been able to taste success since their opening day victory over Southampton at home and are on a dismal four-match winless run across various competitions. The away side were thrashed by Liverpool with a 3-0 scoreline in front of their home fans, while on the road they were forced to share the spoils with Wolves after both the teams managed to score a goal apiece.

Considering that neither the hosts nor Burnley have kept a clean sheet in any of their last two matches as well, you can certainly count on both the teams to find the back of the net in this one. Two out of the previous three matchups here and three of their last six overall have seen goals down each end.

After suffering back-to-back defeats to the likes of Southampton and Man City in previous two league fixtures, Brighton will be aiming to get back on course when they host Burnley at their American Express Community Stadium. The Seagulls want to escape the danger zone in the Premier League standings and seeing that Burnley are not regarded as good travelers, we believe that the hosts are going to emerge triumphant in Saturdays football game.

Prediction Brighton Hove Albion-Burnley: 1x (Odd 1.36)

Lindegaard made his Denmark debut on 7 September, 2010 in a Euro 2012 qualifier against Iceland. He won the FA community shield with the Red Devils on two occasions (2011, 2013). He did well to keep a clean sheet on his debut as Denmark defeat the Icelanders 1-0. In 2010 he was namer Danis Goalkeeper of the Year, but winning of the Premier League trophy (2012/2013) with Manchester United is considered his biggest success.
